The Beginning

The Kathmandu Group began with a passion for authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine, opening its first restaurant in Moraira. The success and warm reception led to the expansion of the group, with new locations opening in Denia, Javea, Albir, and Valencia and Benidorm. Each restaurant was established to share the rich culinary heritage of Nepal and India, offering a unique blend of flavors and experiences in some of Spain’s most scenic coastal towns. The journey from a single restaurant to a renowned group reflects a deep commitment to quality, tradition, and customer satisfaction.

Kathmandu Group

The Kathmandu Group is a family of restaurants dedicated to bringing the rich, authentic flavours of Nepal and India to Spain’s most beautiful coastal towns. Our Story

Moraira

2008

In 2008, the first restaurant The Kathmandu Moraira was opened, where our adventure began. En el año 2008 se abrió el primer restaurante The Kathmandu Moraira donde empezó nuestra aventura.

Denia

2013

After the success of the first restaurant, a new one was opened in Denia in 2013. Tras los éxitos del primer restaurante, se abre uno nuevo en Denia en el año 2013.

Jávea

2015

With the rapid expansion two years later, in 2015 a third restaurant was opened in Xábia. Con la rápida expansión dos años después, en 2015 se abre un tercer restaurante en Xábía.

Albir

2017

Shortly after, in 2017 in Albir and with the consolidated business group, our fourth establishment joined our family of restaurants the katmandhu. Al poco tiempo, en el año 2017 en Albir y ya con el grupo empresarial consolidado se une a nuestra familia de restaurantes the katmandhu nuestro cuarto establecimiento.

Valencia

2022

In 2022 and after the pandemic, the group continues to bet on its expansion by opening in Canovas (Valencia). En el año 2022 y tras la pandemia el grupo sigue apostando por su expansión abriendo en Canovas (Valencia).

Benidorm

2024

After the five successful other restaurants, we choose to expand our branch in Benidorm in 2024. Tras los otros cinco restaurantes de éxito, optamos por ampliar nuestra sucursal en Benidorm en 2024.

Moraira
